What we handle
Door problems we fix
Most door problems come down to hinges, alignment or worn seals. We find the cause instead of just shaving the door until it closes.
- Doors that stick or rub on the frame
- Sagging doors and loose hinges
- Doors that won't latch — strike plates and latches adjusted
- Drafty exterior doors — weatherstripping and door sweeps
- Closet doors, including bifold and sliding doors
- Knobs, levers and door stops
Good to know: humidity makes wood doors swell and shrink, so a door that sticks in summer may close fine in winter. Tell us when it's at its worst.

Door repair FAQ
Can you fix a drafty exterior door?
Yes. Worn weatherstripping and door sweeps are common causes, and we replace both.
My door won't latch. Is that a quick fix?
Often it's the strike plate or hinge alignment, which is usually a short job. A photo or short video of the door closing helps us come prepared.
Can you also change the lock or handle?
Yes. See our locks & hardware service — it can be done in the same visit.
